Silver cup at the Drupal@Europa AI Hackathon

A LinkedIn message, a sign-up without knowing anyone, and a silver cup. Squad 4 built multiple AI-powered CKEditor extensions in a single day at the European Commission hackathon.

A few weeks ago, someone shared a link to an AI Hackathon organised by the European Commission and AWS Bedrock. I signed up alone, not knowing what to expect.

Yesterday: with Squad 4, we won the silver cup (second place). Together, we built multiple CKEditor extensions powered by AI via AWS Bedrock:

Editorial assistance for checking text readability (Flesch score)
Automatic FAQ generation
Stable Diffusion image generation via CKEditor
A plugin for paraphrasing content with multiple options
